Finance Manager

Start date: approximately February 2019.

This vacancy is to cover maternity leave starting in March 2019.

To work up to 37.5 hours per week - reduced hours available if suitable.

Working with the Prama group of charities, you will lead a small team responsible for the delivery of accurate monthly income and expenditure accounting activities for the Prama Group of companies and to support the Senior Management Team in meeting reporting deadlines and any required ad-hoc analysis and reporting.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Line manage the team of finance assistants (currently 4), allocating and supervising their work and carrying out periodical performance reviews.

Act as a reference point for staff across the group in respect of all routine financial system and transactional queries.

Control all aspects of book-keeping including invoicing, sales and purchase ledger input, bank and cash transactions and reconciliations, journals, payroll and nominal ledger administration delegating tasks to members of the team as appropriate.
